MOTUNAU RABBIT BOARD IN THE MATTER of the Rabbits Act, 1955
IN THE MATTER of the Rating Act, 1925. and Amendments, PUBLIC NOTICE PURSUANT TO SECTION 65 of the Rabbits Act, 1955.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Motunau Rabbit Board has by Resolution dated the 10th day of April. 1957, classified all the land in its district for the purpose of levying a rate on a graduated scale for the period commencing on April 1, 1957, and ending on March 31, 1958. A list setting forth such classifications may he inspected without fee at the office of the Board at 77 Hereford street, Christchurch, between lhe hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on week-days and such list will be open for inspection from 9 a.m. on Friday, the 12th day of April, 1957, until 5 p.m., on Monday, the 13th dav of May. 1957.
Notice of appeal by any person aggrieved by the classification must be filed in the Magistrate's Court at Christchurch within seven days of the last mentioned date, and a copy thereof lodged with the Board at the above address.
PUBLIC NOTICE PURSUANT TO SECTION 65 of the Rabbits Act. 1955 and SECTIONS 54 and 76 of the RATING ACT, 1925.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Motunau Rabbit Board intends at a meeting of the Board to be held at the office of the Board, at 77 Hereford street, at 2.15 p.m., on Wednesday, May. 29, 1957, to make and levy a rate on the land in its district for the period commencing on April 1, 1957, and ending on March 31, 1958, in the following proportions in respect of the following classes of land:
7d per acre in respect of land in Class 1 of the classification list. 8d per acre in respect of land in Class 11 of the classification list. AND NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that the time for giving written notice objecting to the proposed proportions expires after a period of twenty-eight days from the date of publication of this Notice, and that the address of the offices of the Board at which such objections may be filed is 77 Hereford street, Christchurch.
AND NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that the said rate will become payable at the office of the Board in one sum on the first day of June, 1957, and that the Rate Book is open for inspection without fee by ratepayers between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday to Friday. An additional charge of 10 per cent, will be added to all rates unpaid at the expiration of six months and fourteen days from the date of demand and shall be payable and recoverable accordingly.
