BEETLES TO KILL FLIES
Liberation In N.Z. To Be Extended
(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, April 10. Fly-killing Hawaiian beetles released in Northland and in Nelson s will soon be liberated in other parts of New Zealand, the man responsible for their initial release in New Zealand, Dr. W. S. Cottier, director of the Entomological Section of the D.5.1.R., said today at Nelson. Dr. Cottier said the beetles had already proved themselves in New Zealand and more beetles would be imported from Samoa.
