Music Teachers Elect Officers
The annual meeting of the Christchurch Society of Registered Music Teachers of New Zealand was held recently. The president (Mr E. Empson) said that the annual report indicated that the society had had a successful year. After the meeting an organ recital was given by Mr W. P. T. Bornet and songs were sung by June Me William and Cara Cogswell. The accompanists were Miss Joyce Barrell and Mrs W. E Olds. Officers elected were: Patron, Miss J. L. Black; president. Mr E. Empson; vice-presidents, Mrs E. Empson and Miss L. Harper: secretary-treasurer, Mr L. Barnes; council, Misses B. Collins, M. H. Conolly,' H. D. Eccles, D. Hight, M. Inwood, V. Martin, and Mr W. P. J. Borhet. i
