THEFT OF EGGS AND PULLETS
Rehua Maori Hostel
About 30 eggs and seven pullets, which had just started laying. were stolen from the Rehua Maori Hostel in Springfield road, early on Sunday morning.
An intruder had been disturbed about 4 a.m., said the Superintendent of the Methodist Central Mission (the Rev. W. E. Falking"ham). The mission runs the hostel.
