Training of Nurses

Members of the Palmerston North Hospital Board want the operation of the new syllabus for the general training of nurses held up until it has been fully considered by a special committee of medical superintendents, hospital board members, and representatives of medical staffs. The board decided this after hearing a report from its medical superintendent (Mr K. R. Archer). The matter will be discussed at the annual conference of the Hospital Boards’ Association, when an Auckland remit will be considered.—(P. A.)
