Equal Pay For Women
Sir, —The question of equal pay for equal work is being strongly considered. I want this to be extended to women who work in the home—real home-makers. I mean. A civil servant was reluctantly proceeded against for adequate housekeeping money. Another man earning top money has not given his wife any money for three years. The family married, he says she can earn. Failing health at her age is taking its toll. Mrs Ross should meet some older women who pioneered to make a home here.—Yours, etc.. AMENDMENT NEEDED HERE. March 21. 1957.
