NEW CENTRE FOR ST. JOHN
Inaugural Meeting Next Week
The inaugural meeting of the newly - constituted CanterburyWest Coast centre of the St. John Ambulance Association ‘will be held next Tuesday. It was hoped that all the 13 subcentres would be represented, said the secretary of the Christchurch St. John Ambulance Association, Major-General G. B. Parkinson, yesterday. The constitution, now introduced on a Dominion-wide basis, insures that all active participants in the country shall have some voice in shaping the policy of the association, he said. “The centre should be a most valuable clearing house for the exchange of ideas and the sharing of experience,” said General Parkinson.
