U.N. FELLOWSHIP AWARD
N.Z. Asked For Nominations
The New Zealand Federation of Business and Professional Women’s Clubs has been invited to submit nominations for the seventh United Nations Fellowship of the International Federation of Business and Professional Women to be awarded towards the end; of this year. The fellowship is of a total value of 1000 dollars and covers travelling expenses to America and a per diem allowance while attending United Nations meetings.
The purpose of the award is to enable a qualified business or professional woman in the organisation to -make a practical study of United Nations Commissions, which can be put to use later by the recipient either in official or non-governmental work.
Miss Louise Arnold, a South African member, who received the sixth fellowship, is at present attending the eleventh session of the Status of Women Commission now meeting in New York.
