Mobile Post Office.— Philatelists are being given the opportunity to send covers for cancellation at the new Auckland Mobile Post Office savings bank on its first day of operation. Announcing this yesr terday the chief postmaster (Mr H. R. Pool) said that the bank, the second one in Auckland, would operate in the Mount Roskill and Glen Innes areas. “Philatelists should send covers to the chief postmaster, Auckland, packaged and clearly marked ‘Covers for mobile bank,’ ” Mr Pool said. “Covers should reach the postmaster by April 10.- The mobile bank will have its own datestamp reading ‘Mobile Post Office Savings-bank No. 2, Auckland? ”
