WASHINGTON. March 7. Congress today gave final approval to the Eisenhower doctrine designed to counter Communist penetration in the Middle East. The measure, as passed in its amended for i by 350 votes to 60 in the House of Representatives, now goes to President Eisenhower for his signature. Today’s action by the House thus set'the final seal of approval on the joint Congressional resolution, which has been subjected to two months of searching debate. The amended the Administration's proposed version before approving it by 72 votes to 19 last Tuesday night.
