Creighton, 26-20. » SATURDAY’S GAMES The Canterbury Croquet Association’s senior tournament is now entering its final stages, and is expected to finish on Wednesday. The final match for the Canterbury open championship will be played between Mrs C. Ogier (United) and F. W. Gurnsey (Fendalton). In the final of the first life in the men’s championship singles, W. B. C. Paynter (United) will meet J. Hewitson (South Brighton). Hewitson has already won the second life final. The final of the intermediate championship singles was played on Saturday between Mrs L. Beale (St. Martins) and T. A. Searell (Redcliffs). Both players made good breaks and played excellent croquet. Searell was the winner, 26-19. In the final of the women’s championship singles, to be played this week, Mrs W. L. Martin (United) will meet Mrs E. Todd (St. James).
