BRITISH MEN’S WEAR DISPLAY

Although from a clothing point of view it would be generally conceded that the menfolk of Christchurch are well catered for. there are many who would, if they could obtain them, be more than interested in something “different,” smart, tasteful, and unusual apparel, particularly on the accessory side. With a view to giving the male members of the community the opportunity of seeing and selecting “Men’s Wear with a Difference,” Hay’s, Ltd., recently made arrangements with their Overseas Buyers, the Myers Emporium (London), Ltd., to choose a quantity of exciting new Men’s Wear from Britain and the Continent.

This merchandise has now arrived—a delightful range covering every accessory * from cuff links to walking sticks; ties, socks, Handkerchiefs, in fact all those details that go to make the tastefully dressed man. An unusual display has been set up in Hay’s Exhibition Room (on the first floor—take stairs in China, Dept.) which will be open to the public from Monday morning, 9 a.m. An invitation is extended to all men and, of course, their womenfolk, to call and see what Hay's have done once again in their never-ceasing efforts to give the people what they want.
