NO PLAY
The Otago Rugby Union has refused a request for the use of Carisbrook for an Australian Rules football match. At a recent meeting of the union’s management committee, a request for the ground was received from the Australian National Football Council. The council said it .had been suggested that two clubs should tour New Zealand, playing each other in a series of matches.
