DEWAR CUP POLO TOURNAMENT

(New Zealand Press Association) NAPIER, February 8. Hawke’s Bay and Poverty Bay, the dual holders of the Dewar Cup, the principal trophy of the Hawke’s Bay Polo Club's annual tournament, today reached the final of this year’s tournament. Conditions today were ideal, the ground being fast and hard. Results:— Junior grade: Poverty Bay B 6, Hawke's Bay D 2; Hawke's Bay C 1, Tukituki 3: Martinborough 6. Rankitiki B 4; Poverty Bay B 4. Tukituku 1; Martinborough 6. Hawke's Bay D 1; Rangitiki B 7, Hawke's Bay C 0. Senior grade: Hawke’s Bay A 12. Hawke's Bay B 0; Poverty Bay A 10, Rangitiki A 1.
