Only two fours went through the qualifying rounds of the Buller Women’s Centre’s tournament without a loss- in the six games, both in the A section. They are those skipped by Mesdames P. Thomson (Greymouth) and P. Stretch (Waterlea. Marlborough). There were 13 qualifiers, the others being the teams skipped by Mesdames V. Chapman (Springlands. Marlborough). V. Robinson (Brightwater).
