Housing For Migrants
(Rec. 8 p.m.) LONDON, Feb. 7. British building societies should be encouraged to help provide bouses for British migrants in Commonwealth countries, a Conservative peer, Lord Barnby, said today.
This could be done by tax concessions, he told the House of Lords.
The societies would be investing in real estate, which would be repayable over a period of time by the migrants who occupied the houses, he said.
