South Sumatra Autonomy
(Rec. 8 p.m.) JAKARTA, Jan. 20. South Sumatra has joined the northern and central districts ot Indonesia’s biggest island m demanding autonomy from the national Government, it was reported today. The Antara news agency said Army officers, former servicemen and business leaders in southern Sumatra formed a “revolutionary cjuncil’’ last week to administer the area independently on the Jakarta regime.
