DAVIS CUP PLAYERS

J. E; ROBSON AND C. T. PARKER

(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON. January 20. The chairman of the management committee of the New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association (Mr F. S. Ramson) has announced the names of two players who will represent New Zealand in the European zone of the Davis Cup competition. He said the management committee had confirmed the selection of J. E. Robson and C. T. Parker, who had been nominated by the New Zealand selectors. Messrs K. J. Hayr. M. C. Healey, and G. C. Reid. It was probable that another player would be added to the team before long. Mr Ramson said that both Robson and Parker were definitely available, and were able to get the required leave.

They xzould depart from New Zealand, probably in March, in time to take part in tournaments in England as well as in the Davis Cup, he said. The tour would finish with Wimbledon in July.
