Purdy (Auckland) and L. Middlemiss (PukCkohe) beat H. Ford (Wellington) and F. C. Bryan (Wellington), 26-10: Mesdames W. L. Martin and B. Rey nolds (Christchurch) beat Mesdames G. Molloy (Opotiki) and W. Anderson (Whakatane). 2fi-9. Second Round. —Mrs B. A. Jarden (Wellington) and W. Paynter (Christchurch) beat Mesdames HMoffat (Auckland) and N.
