Well Trained.— Melchiorre Minetto. a 63-year-old rural postman in Italy, returned home from his rounds to find that he had lost a packet of registered letters. He set out with his old Alsatian. Tom, to retrace the rounds. He lost the dog. When he came home again Tom was waiting for him with the packet gripped in his teeth.—Rome, January 15.
