Mother’s Trial For Murder

(New Zealand Press Association) DUNEDIN. January 17. The trial of Lillian Clark, aged 20. single, on a charge of murder of her eight-month-old son, Phillip Geoffrey Skilton, at Ngapara, on October' 11. 1956, will be heard by the Chief Justice, Sir Harold Barrowclough, at the next sessions of the Dunedin Supreme Court, which will begin on February 26. Clark was committed to appear before the Supreme Court at the lower Court hearing at Oamaru on December 14. This hearing lasted three days.
