Miss Pamela Holder, of the Minister of Finance’s office, Wellington, tied for first place with Miss Peggy Nicholas, of the staff of the Labour Department, New Plymouth.

Miss Carol Reader, of Nelson, was first in the advanced grade of shorthand-typists, Miss Gaynor Gallagher, of Auckland, was first in the senior grade, and Miss Dorothy Adams, of Wellington, led the junior grade.
