City Girl Top For N.Z. (From Our Own Reporter) WELLINGTON, January 16. Miss Joyce Henry, a typist in the Christchurch district office of the Air Department, topped the list of candidates who sat typing examinations concluded by the Public Service Commission at the end of last year. In a special group of shorthandtypists. Miss Pamela Holder, of the Minister of Finance’s office, Wellington, tied for first place with Miss Peggy Nicholas, of the staff of the Labour Department, New Plymouth.
Miss Carol Reader, of Nelson, was first in the advanced grade of shorthand-typists, Miss Gaynor Gallagher, of Auckland, was first in the senior grade, and Miss Dorothy Adams, of Wellington, led the junior grade.
