WORLD'S BIGGEST ATOMIC POWER STATION.—-The British Government has placed contracts for the building of three new atomic power stations—two in England and one in Scotland. This is an artist’s impression of the one to be built in Scotland, which will be the biggest plant in the world. Without fuel, it will cost £35,000,000, and, when completed in 1961, it is estimated that it will save about 650,000 tons of coal a year. Construction will begin almost immediately.
