COMMANDO RAIDS

Complaint By Israel (Rec. 9 p.m.) WASHINGTON. Dec. 26. Israel has asked the United States to try to halt border raids being carried out by Arab commandos under Egyptian direction. A formal diplomatic Note sent to the State Department yesterday by the Israeli Embassy saia that during the period from December 3 to 24 there were 19 separate attacks. The Israeli Note said that these incidents violated the United Nations resolution of November 2 calling for a cease fire in the Israel-Egyptian fighting, and ordering an end to raids into neighbouring territories. The Israeli Note was taken under advisement by the State Department.
