Iraq’s Appeal To U.S.
(Rec. 9 p.m.) BAGDAD, Dec. 24. The Prime Minister of Iraq (Mr Nuri es Said) today called on the United States to join the Bagdad Pact as a full member to help safeguard peace and security in the Middle East and establish peace on earth. In a special Christmas message, he said: “This glorious occasion signifies among other things one true and valuable message to mankind—peace on earth. “Never in the annals of history should this message be appreciated as it should be today.”
