N.Z. Wool Exports

Almost half the total number of bales of wool exported from New Zealand during the first quarter of the current season have been shipped to Britain. With 99,049 from a total of 207,738 bales, Britain easily heads off the United States, which up till October 31 had imported 40,471 bales. After Britain and the United Jtates. the eight top importers of New Zealand wool for the first quarter of the 1956-57 season, from July to October, are France, Poland.
