Italian Plane Missing
(N.Z Press Association —Copyright) (Rec 11 p.m.) ROME, December 22 An Italian airliner with 17 passengers and four of a crew aboard was reported missing tonight on a flieht from Rome to Milan. The missing plane is a Dakota. Italian mountain dwellers reported that they saw “a big plane” crash in flames near a glacier 6000 feet up in the alpine foothills near Trento, in north-eastern Italy. Search parties set out immediately but were not expected to reach the area before dawn.
