EXAMINATION RESULTS (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, December 20. The New Zealand Institute of Valuers advises that the following were among the successful candidates in its urban professional examinations held last month:— Nelson. —Beatson, N. G., in elementary quantity surveying and specifications; Day, R. E., in fundamentals of practical accounting; Pedersen, R. 0., in both the above subjects; Dobson, G. W. A., in urban valuation law and urban valuation (part ID. Christchurch.—Smith, K. 8., and McCrosbie, M. H., in building construction (part ID and urban valuation (part II); Simmons. H. A., in urban land economics and urlan valuation (part II); Sheppard, C. M., in elementary quantity surveying and specifications. Greymouth.—Mclntosh, J. R., and Waugh, W. T., in urban valuation law. In the rural professional examinations J. H. J. Warring (Christchurch) passed in rural valuation law, farm management, and valuation (part II). Disorderly Behaviour.— Robert James Dunick, aged 21, a seaman, was fined £3 in the Lyttelton Magistrate’s Court yesterday for disorderly behaviour on the Lyttelton railway station. He pleaded guilty. For using obscene language in Oxford street. Dunick was fined £2, and for resisting Constable R. Boyd he was convicted and ordered to pay costs. Messrs W. rn Lester and R. H. Duff, Justices of the Peace, were on the Bench.
