Soldier’s Body Found.— The body of Russell Edmund Birchelar. of Feilding, who disappeared on, Sunday morning while swimming with a party from Linton Military Camp in the Manaw/itu river, was found 200 yards below the Longburn railway bridge at 7.20 a.m. yesterday.—(P.A.) Snooker Record.— World billiards champion. Clark McConachy. bettered his New Zealand record snooker break of 119 by two points in an unofficial attempt at Moerewa.— (P.A.)
