Road to Paringa
A premature report that the road was now open to Paringa in South Westland led to crowds of visitors during Labour week-end experiencing some difficulties, the Automobile Association (Canterbury) was informed last evening. A West Coast delegate said the road was expected to be ready for traffic by Christmas.
