PRE PACKED MEAT FOR EXPORT
FEDERATED FARMERS ENDORSE PLAN (New Zealand Press Association) DUNEDIN, November 20. Otago Federated Farmers is supporting a move to introduce a new division into New Zealand’s export meat in-dustry—deep-frozen pre-packaged meat products. A private operator wanting to exploit thL field has sought the help of the meat and wool section to clear his way of regulations. A meeting today of the section decided to press for amendment of the Meat Act, to allow stock to be killed for export in the Dunedin city abattoir at Burnside.
