PLANS FOR MASS X-RAYS

Department To Meet Manufacturers X-ray arrangements for 1957 will be discussed by a sub-committee of the Canterbury Manufacturers’ Association with officers of the Department of Health in Christchurch. A letter from the department received by the council of the association last evening said that it believed a discussion with the sub-committee would help it in planning its 1957 scheme and give association members information on the work and problems of mass X-rays. So far 33,500 persons had been X-rayed, but there were certain aspects in which improvements might be made. The association’s sub-committee will comprise Messrs J. Bradley, C. S. Peate, and L. R. Webley.
