ELLESMERE MATCHES M. Fleming , played an excellent innings tor Lceston, scoring 153 not out, including 11 sixes and 13 fours, in the match against Southbridge in the Ellesmere Cricket Sub-Association’s competitions on Saturday. He was twice dropped before 10, but after that played a sound innings, scoring most of his runs on the leg side. A third-wicket partnership with B. Mercer (28) put on 107 runs. Bowling for Leeston, G Geddes, with medium pace off-breaks, took five wickets for 6 runs off nine overs, including five maidens. In its match with Dunsandel, Weedons declared with 160 for six, leaving Dunsandel under two hours to win. It scored 176 for two wickets, J. Walker making 129 not but, the last 75 coming in 30 minutes. W. Heslop made a sound 60 for Irwell, and P. Joyce, a medium-pace bowler, took eight for Lincoln College. The positions of the teams after the fifth round are: Dunsandel 25, Leeston 22, IrweJ] 18, Lincoln College 18, Lincoln 13, Weedons 9, Burnham Military Camp 7, Springston 4, Southbridge 3. Scores Leeston 196 for three declared (M. Fleming 153 not out. B. Mercer 28; R. Brears, two for 82, T. Thompson one for 26) beat Southbridge 44 (P. Johnston 12, R. Brown 10: G. Geddes five for 6, B. Mercer four for 23) by 152 runs on the first innings. Dunsandel 176 for two wickets (J Walker 129 not out. J. Chamberlain 24. M. Brown 14: M. Owens two for 41) beat Weedons 160 for six declared (E. Chatterton 61, C. Chatterton 29 not out, R. Tilson 21, R. Manson 20; I. Chamberlain three for 56, P Buckenham two for 563 by eight wickets on the first innings. irwell 182 for seven declared (W. Heslop 60. L. Coe 30, N. Heslop 21, G. Wilson 19; N. Wallis four for 66, A. Riordan two for 44) drew with Lincoln 171 for eight wickets (A. Riordan 48, M. Wallis 45, G. Thomas 20, C. Dacre 18; M.
