“All Satellites Will Revolt”

(Rec. 10 p.m.) WASHINGTON. Nov. 15. A Hungarian who fought against the Russians in the revolt said today that the Soviet Union’s entire satellite system eventually would revolt because “humanity will not stana forever for tyranny and despotism.’ The forecast was made before the Senate Internal Security sub-commit-tee by an escaped Hungarian Government worker. He wore a white gown and surgical mask to conceal his identity and protect his family ip Hungary. The dark haired witness, who went under an assumed name, appealed foi “the help of every nation to thwart the Kremlin’s attempt to bring Hungary back under Moscow control.”

He predicted that the Hunganaiand Polish uprisings eventually would be repeated throughout the satellite system. The plight of captive peoples all over Middle and Eastern

Europe paralleled conditions in Hungary where life had become a hopeless treadmill under eight years of Communist rule. "The Communist Government year after year talked about raising the standard of living, but always the opposite happened. The greatest part o t produced goods was always transported to the Soviet, and the barest minimum was left for the Hungarian people,” he said.
