ACCUSED REMANDED AT AUCKLAND (New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND. October 15. Neville Stephen Hassett, aged 31. a driver, appeared in the Magistrate’s Court today charged with killing Reginald Havelock Green by striking him unlawfully, thereby committing manslaughter. Mr H. L. Edwards, the police prosecutor. asked for a remand to October 29 and Mr H. Jenner Wily. S.M.. granted the request. Mr L. Patel appeared for Hassett, and sought bail, which was granted with a surety of £2OO and a condition that Hassett reports daily to the police.
