The appointment of Brigadier A. H. Andrews as senior New Zealand Army liaison officer in London was announced yesterday by the Minister cf Defence (Mr T. L. Macdonald). Brigadier Andrews, who is at present officer commanding the Central Military District, will take up his appointment in December. He will succeed Brigadier H. E. Gilbert, who will attend the 195. course at the Imperial Defeijce College.—(P.A.) Mr lan Cross, formerly chief reporter of the “Dominion,” Wellington, has been appointed public relations officer for the Police Force and the Justice Department. Mr Cross, who will, begin his new duties on Monday, will be attached to the National Publicity Studios and seconded to the Police Force and Justice Department.—(P.A.)
