ONE LIE NAILED
Sir,—Regarding the letter by Geo. R. Lynne in support of George Edmonds, it is a poor cause which requires blasphemy to make itself heard. I did not think it possible to sink to such an offensive level of poor taste. Indeed, such support must be very dubious if its value lies in the parody of a beautiful and devout prayer said daily by thousands in this city and all over the world. Perhaps Mr Edmonds would care to apologise for such overenthusiastic support.—Yours, etc., R. September 21, 1956.
