NEW CATHEDRAL FOR NAPIER

CONSTRUCTION TO START SOON (New Zealand Press Association) NAPIER, August 26. A tender for the construction of the first portion of the new Anglican Cathedral in Napier has neen accepted. Work is expected to start almost immediately, and the portions to which the contract relates should be completed by early 1958. Work on sections of the new cathedral to be built under the contract will involve an expenditure of about £65,000.
