Reid, 15-11, 8-15, 15-13; W. Pritchard beat A. Roberts (seeded), 11-15, 15-11. 15-7. Championship Doubles.—Semi-finals: R. Pattinson and A. Roberts beat R. Reid and A. Duckmanton, 15-6, 16-18, 15-13; R. Macefield and J. Read beat Pritchard and J. Beatty, 15-6, 10-15, 15-6. Handicap Singles.—First round: G. Fiebig (—11) beat W. Muncaster (4-10), 21-16. Second round: S. Lawn ( —4) beat J. Beatty (4-1). 21-9. Handicap Doubles.—Second round: D. B. Reid and B Wylie (scr) beat G. Fiebig and S. Lawn ( —8). 21-1; R. Hall and J. Read ( —8) beat P.
