A TREAT FOR ALL THE FAMILY
Wholesome FRUIT SQUARES are quickly and easily made with BUT-TER-CRUST. Roll out BUTTERCRUST. line a tin with half and prick with a fork. Grate 4 or 5 apples, add A cup sugar, a few raisins, sultanas, nuts, dates, a little spice or nutmeg. Stand for 10 minutes. Strain off juice and spread mixture on BUTTERCRUST in tin. Cover with remainder of BUTTER-CRUST. Bake in moderate oven about ? hour. Ideal for school lunches and so easy to make with BUTTER-CRUST, the perfect sweet short pastry ready to roll and bake.
