Sir.—As one who enjoys “Question brk” from 3YA each Thursday even■j I was dismayed to hear the panel J evening advocating wine with and lauding the wine and food irganisation. I wonder if Doctor X as attended many drink addicts, and eec the tragedy in the homes where jink is a compelling urge; where ionesty and self-respect are lost: also indents through drunken drivers, [any an addict became so from drinkigwine at a cocktail party. As many eople try to keep up with the Joneses jd think it smart and correct to drink rine because it is advocated by such roadcasts. I would beg the N.Z.B.S. rthe Government to censor anything lat will harm listeners if they follow jvice given New Zealand has nothing i be proud of in her broken and iserable homes where drink is master, ff of the lives lost through its effects. ■Yours, etc., C.M.A. August 16. 1956.
