A heavy snow storm in the Mount Cook area on Thursday gave Sir Edmund Hillary and his Antarctic training party a taste of what is to come. The camp at Malte Brun wa: completely out of dog food, and the party was anxious for the storm to break so that an aircraft could lly the meat in. Yesterday, Squadron Leader J. R. Claydon, leader of t?.c Antarctic flight, was able to make several Hights up the glacier in perfect weather and relieve the position.
