LYTTELTON’S PRIDE IN ALL BLACK

A letter congratulating R. H. Duff on his inclusion in the All Black team for the first test is to be sent by the Lyttelton Borough Council. An honour had been brought to Lyttelton by Duff’s selection, not only as a member but as vice-captain of the All Black team, said the Mayor (Mr F. G. Briggs) at a meeting of the council last evening. It was the first occasion that a Lyttelton resident had been chosen as the vice-captain of an All Black team.
