K FORCE STRENGTH DOWN TO 100
“The Press” Special Service WELLINGTON, July 4. The New Zealand force in Korea is now close to the 100-strong mark aimed at earlier this year when the Minister of Defence (Mr T. L. Macdonald) announced a gradual reduction from 450, the strength then. But there seems no iipmediate prospect of the force being withdrawn, although it could possibly be one of the subjects under discussion at the Commonwealth Prime Ministers' conference in London.
