CREDIT BALANCE OF £4490/12/3 A credit balance of £4490 12s 3d for the year ended May 31 is shown in the New Zealand Racing Conference’s general account. The conference’s levy for the year was £47,553 Os 7d. including £2553 o>‘ 7d from the New Zealand Trotting Conference. Registration fees amounted to £3052 12s 6d. and £2535 10s came from the sale of stud books, late entry fees and extended pedigree fees. General expenses were £13.052 17s 4d. and salaries amounted to £4245 8s Rd The stipendiary stewards’ account took £13.323 3s lOd. and the racecourse inspectors account £.9537 13s. Printing and salaries connected with Volumes XVII and XVIII of the New Zealand Stud Book amounted to £6529 18s
