Nixon Leaves On World Trip

(Rec. 10 p.m.) MIAMI (Florida), June 30. The Vice-President (Mr Richard Nixon) leaves today on a 10-day trip around the world. Mr Nixon, accompanied by his wife, arrived last night aboard the Presidential plane, the Columbine, and announced they would leave this afteinoon on the flight. Mr Nixon said he would stop in Los Angeles for a brief visit to his father at Whittier. California, and would then go to Manila to help commemorate the tenth year of Philippine independence. From there they would fly to Viet Nao. Saigon, thence to Calcutta, with a stop in Arabia and another in Rome, before returning to Washington.
