From Cold War To “Tepid Peace”

(Rec. 10 p.m.) LONDON, June 23. The Prime Minister, Sir Anthony Eden, said tonight that the world seemed to be moving from a cold war into a tepid peace. Speaking to a Conservative rally at Warwick, Sir Anthony Eden said: “We can surely feel that things are improving when we see the Minister of Housing going to Moscow to pick up some hints on how to stop our pipes freezing up as they did last winter.

“We shall go on working to help a better understanding to grow, he said.
