Honorary Degree For Mr Truman
(Rec. 10 p.m.) OXFORD, June 20. The former American President. Mr Harry S. Truman, donned vermilion academic robes at Oxford University today to become "Harricum Truman, doctor in civil law.” Introducing Mr Truman, the Public Orator said: "I present to you for admission to the honorary degree of doctor in civil law a man of courage and energy, modest even in the splendour of his high position—Mr Harry Truman. After receiving his degree. Mr Truman joined members of the faculties at a celebration luncheon. _
