MR HOLLAND HAS HEAVY COLD

MONTREAL ENGAGEMENTS CANCELLED

Mr Holland, Prime Minister of New Zealand, today was forced to cancel engagements because jof a heavy cold and fever, but he is expected to be able to continue his journey to London tomorrow as scheduled.

Mr Holland will attend the conference of Commonwealth Prime Ministers in London. A civic reception and a tour of the St. Lawrence seaway were cancelled.

Mr Holland’s secretary, Mr K Sleight, said the Prime Minister had suffered from a cold for several days, and it became worse yesterday while he was in the scenic Laurentian Mountains, north of Montreal.
