(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright)

(Rec. 10 p.m.) MELBOURNE, June 19. A professor warned university students today that the use of “stay-awake” drugs could cause brain damage and mental breakdowns. Professor K. H. Shaw, a Melbourne University pharmacology professor, condemned the excessive use of “pep” drugs to overcome the desire for sleep and food.
